Petr Svoboda and
the Founding of Ralton

In 1991, Petr Svoboda founded Ralton Components as a modern, creative and dynamic company building on the long tradition of Czech glass and jewelry production. Just like Czech glass has become synonymous with beauty and quality around the world, our company has steadily built an excellent reputation for its unique products, creativity and, above all, first-rate quality.

Over the years, Ralton has become known to many international designers and fashion brands for its unique products, its creative and pro-customer approach, and its presence at major trade shows around the world. We have exhibited in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, as well as in the USA, UAE and Japan for many years, proudly presenting our innovations along with the latest trends in fashion jewelry. Over the years, we have established long-lasting collaborations and friendships with many international companies and fashion designers.

The Hásek Villa

The Hásek Villa

Fittingly, Petr Svoboda founded his company based on the solid principles of traditional glassmaking, innovation and quality at the Hásek Villa, a historical villa with roots in the Jablonec jewelry tradition. His vision and determination to build a company both following and setting the latest trends in the fashion industry have brought Ralton international recognition and respect. Petr Svoboda’s core values have made the company an important player in the fashion jewelry and components market, and we are justly proud of continuing his legacy.

Ralton Today

Ralton Today

After the sudden death of Petr Svoboda in 2018, his eldest son Filip took over leadership of the company. Filip Svoboda has managed to build on his father's legacy and bring innovative new ideas, revamp the company’s business model, approach to customers, and the way it presents itself.
Today, he leads Ralton as the only company preserving and developing the tradition of hand-pressing special glass stones and passing on this art to new generations. Ralton not only develops collaborations with fashion design companies, but also works closely with local art schools, training new practitioners of this unique craft.
